Jamaica's Ruling Party Prepares For 81st Annual Conference

KINGSTON, Jamaica –  The ruling Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), is preparing for its 81st annual conference to be held on Sunday with high ranking officials saying the stage will be set for what they say will be a crucial part of the party’s bid to secure an unprecedented third consecutive term.

Caribbean Immigration Advocates Decry Judge’s Ruling

NEW YORK, New York – The New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC), an umbrella policy and advocacy organization that represents over 200 immigrant and refugee rights groups throughout New York, on Friday condemned a United States District Court judge’s ruling against the Keeping Families Together (KFT) program that aims to expand access to the parole in place program for long-term undocumented Caribbean and other immigrants married to US citizens, as well as the step-children of US citizens.
