Why They Conduct This Count
The census provides critical data for many sectors, from law to education, including public health, helping health professionals understand how illnesses affect our community.
Census data is used to allocate federal funding to community health centers, public health programs, Medicaid, disaster preparedness and relief, and many other services and resources needed in our neighborhoods. Now more than ever we need an accurate count of everyone living in Miami-Dade.
