Rosewood Baha Mar’s Director of Housekeeping, Sherrell Sullivan, Recognized in Rosewood’s 2022 Annual Extraordinary Awards

Nassau, The Bahamas - Rosewood Baha Mar has announced that Sherrell Sullivan, director of housekeeping, has been awarded the Global People Leadership Award for Rosewood Hotel Group at the 2022 Annual Extraordinary Awards.

rosewoThe Annual Extraordinary Awards is an opportunity for Rosewood Hotels to celebrate the exceptional achievements, passion, and extraordinary stories of its talented associates. This year, over 150 nominations were received from across all brands within the group, and Rosewood associates helped determine the finalists with a record-breaking 8,400 votes from around the world. The awards include seven categories: Relationship Hospitality, Extraordinary Service, Community, Innovation, People Leadership, Internal & External Guest Focus, and Business Acumen.

Sullivan, who manages a team of eighty associates, has implemented many initiatives aimed at supporting her teammates. This includes Sullivan’s high-protein snack pack called the“Power Pack,” which is given to each associate on busy days to ensure that they keep their energy levels stable. She also organized a back-to-school family fun day for all associates and their children to collect school bags and supplies. Additionally, Sullivan developed “Mother and Father of The Year” celebrations, as well as other annual events to honor her team.

Sullivan’s department was recognized as one of the top five most engaged at Rosewood Baha Mar due to her outstanding leadership and initiatives. She was honored at Rosewood Hotel Group’s awards ceremony, which took place in Hong Kong.
