Prince Saj Has Released New Eight-Song EP, 'Conquest'

When Prince Saj gave his life to the Lord three years ago, he shunned material trappings. One thing he kept from his time in the world, however, was the art of deejaying.

prinsajThe lanky artist toasts the Almighty on Conquest, his eight-song EP which was released in early December by DaJourney Production, a Canadian independent company.

Prior to his conversion to Christianity, Prince Saj recorded a handful of songs for different producers. With Toronto-based producer DaJourney, he found common ground on Conquest which contains songs like Marriage is Beautiful and Watch yuh Step.

“To know that God has seen it fit to bless me with the opportunity to release an EP is an ecstatic feeling. I’m beyond happy and I’m immensely grateful that my first-ever EP has been released for the world to listen and hear the Biblical messages that each song brings,” said Prince Saj.

Conquest maintains positive momentum for the 22 year-old artist who is from St. Catherine parish in rural Jamaica. In December, 2021, he was first runner-up in the Magnum Top Performa talent competition; in October last year, he won Breakout Sensation of The Year at the Sterling Gospel Music Awards.

According to Prince Saj, embracing Christianity has made his life whole.

“Since accepting Jesus Christ, my life has been transformed in a Heavenly way. That’s just how I can put it. I feel more safe and secure knowing that I have a God, a Father who will fight for me and love me unconditionally,” he said.
