Gospel Artist Wingy Danejah Teams Up With Toyalove and V. Rose For New Song 'Back to You'

Gospel artist Wingy Danejah has done a number of collaborations over the years, sharing the mic with high-profile acts such as Da’Ville, as well as several emerging acts. In 'Back to You', his latest song, he teams up with American acts Toyalove and V. Rose.

Wingy Danejah with V. Rose (left) and Toyalove.The collaboration has become an effective strategy for artists to cross over into different markets. While he would welcome a hit song, Florida-based Wingy Danejah says that is not a priority when he calls on other artists.

“When collaborating with an artist, I seek alignment with the message of faith and inspiration that resonates with the teachings of Christ and the will of God. For me, the objective is to express divine truths through music, uplifting souls and spreading love and light in accordance with God's will,” he said.

These are his latest collaborations with V. Rose and Toyalove. No Love and Birthday are his previous singles with V. Rose, while Everybody Dance, his song with Toyalove, came out in 2023.

Typical of many of his songs, Wingy Danejah fuses different sounds on Back to You. In this case, hip hop, pop and dancehall, but the message is consistent.

“The song delves into the realisation that true purpose lies in a deep relationship with God, suggesting that everything else we pursue can feel like a waste of time until we prioritise our connection with the Divine,” said Wingy Danejah.
