Kenroy Carney Releases New Book 'The Tailoring of Life: Your Unique Design'

Known to music fans as singer Kenne Blessin, Kenroy Carney has always wanted to express his thoughts in a different medium. He finally did that in The Tailoring of Life: Your Unique Design, his first book, which was released in May.

It is available through Kindle and Audible Read Amazon.

The Atlanta-based Carney, who was born in St. Thomas parish, eastern Jamaica, says the book is a personal reflection.

“I always felt like I should write a book based on my life stories. I have so much things I have to say, but sometimes it depends on your meditations,” he said. “This book is just to let people remind themselves that we are our own unique designs, and if we learn to find ourselves, it will be easier for us to love each other more, which I had to do.”

Carney wrote The Tailoring of Life: Your Unique Design while continuing to record songs as Kenne Blessin. In 2025, he released his second album, as well as produced an EP and a handful of singles. 

While he plans to release the book in traditional hard copy, Carney hopes the current formats will have broad appeal.

“We are trying to reach the world. We are trying to reach the young generation, and the middle-aged. Also the older people who love to read,”he said.
