Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – On Monday October 14th Caribbean Airlines inaugural flight BW294 landed safely at the Terrance B. Lettsome Airport, in the British Virgin Islands. This marks yet another milestone for the air carrier which continues to deliver on its promise to provide increased connectivity in the region. 

CASTRIES, St. Lucia – The St. Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) Monday said the island had achieved a “significant milestone” within the sector after 34, 895 visitors  arrived here in August this year, a  27 per cent increase compared to August last year.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Sanovnik Destang, a respected hotelier from St. Lucia and Executive Director of Bay Gardens Resorts, has been elected as the new President of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA). His appointment was confirmed at CHTA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) last week, succeeding outgoing President Nicola Madden-Greig. Destang will serve a two-year term, leading alongside a newly elected slate of executive officers.
