CTO Announces New Initative to Showcase Caribbean Tourism

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – The Barbados-based Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) says it has entered into a strategic partnership with the Travel & Adventure Shows, the largest series of travel shows in the United States to further promote the region’s tourism sector.

Jetblue Extends Suspension of Flights to Haiti

PORT AU PRINCE, Haiti – United States carrier, JetBlue says it will extend its suspension of flights to Haiti until April 30, 2025, citing ongoing civil unrest and security risks. This decision was made following  incidents in November when aircraft from JetBlue, Spirit, and American Airlines were struck by bullets  shortly before landing at the  Toussaint Louverture International Airport here.

Haiti Reopens International Airport

PORT AU PRINCE, Haiti – Haiti’s international airport reopened on Wednesday, exactly one month after it was closed when members of criminal gangs fired upon commercial aircraft landing at the Toussaint Louverture International Airport, injuring at least one flight attendant from Spirit Airlines.
