St. Lucia Welcomes New Initiative Allowing Travelers From France to Visit the Island as Well as Martinique

CASTRIES, St. Lucia – St. Lucia has welcomed a new initiative that will allow travelers from France to visit the island on the same day that they arrive in the French territory of Martinique.

With increased connectivity, more people can now partake in the vibrant festivities, cultural events, and festivals that make St. Lucia a truly unique destination.

“This growth reflects our commitment to providing accessibility and fostering a deeper connection with our beautiful island, ensuring that the wonders of St. Lucia are within reach for everyone,” said Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information Minister, Dr. Ernest Hilaire.

The French-based airline, Air Carabies has introduced the NavigAir allowing for its flight TX510 from France to Martinique to connect to through the  L’Express des Iles inter-island ferry.

The new service, which is available on Thursdays and Sundays will allow for the flight to land in Martinique with a shuttle service from the airport to the seaport and onto the ferry service to St. Lucia at a single price.

The authorities here said that the expanded route is designed to streamline travel for visitors between the French regions and St. Lucia.

NavigAir is also available from Paris to St. Martin, Dominica, and Guadeloupe, with onward connections to St. Lucia via Express des Iles. The return service from Saint Lucia to Martinique, Dominica, and Guadeloupe, with onward connections to Paris, is available Saturdays to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
