CONCACAF side Panama will have a shot at reaching Group F as they are one of four teams doing battle in Group C of the playoff tournament next February, alongside Chinese Taipei, Paraguay and Papua New Guinea.

Jamaica face a tough opener against France on July 23 at the Sydney Football Stadium in Sydney before coming up against the winners of the Group C qualifiers at their second outing in Perth six days later.

Brazil will present Jamaica with their final challenge of the preliminary round at the Melbourne Rectangular Centre on August 2.

In their debut World Cup in France three years ago, Jamaica also faced Brazil in the opening round, losing 3-0 in Grenoble.

CONCACAF giants United States, who won their fourth World Cup with a 2-0 win over the Netherlands in the 2019 final, have been drawn in Group E against their Dutch rivals, Vietnam and the winners of Group A of the qualifiers involving Cameroon, Thailand and Portugal.

French Caribbean side Haiti will also hope to make the main draw of the tournament as they will be involved in Group B of the qualifying series against Senegal and Chile.

If Haiti wins the qualifier, they will face a difficult ask in Group D of the main draw against England, Denmark and China.

Another CONCACAF giant, reigning Olympic champions Canada, will contest Group B alongside Australia, Nigeria and the Republic of Ireland.
