MIAMI, Florida – Barbados suffered a heavy 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Nicaragua to lose their second game of the CONCACAF Nations League on Monday, to remain bottom of their group.

QATARairwayPlaying in League B in the Group B contest in Managua, Barbados were battered in the first half through goals from Ariagner Smith (11th), Juan Luis Pérez (40th) and Jaime Moreno (45+), before Jacob Montes (69th) and Moreno again completed the rout at the National Stadium.

Thierry Gale provided the consolation goal for Barbados at the death, the 21-year-old Austria-based forward notching his second of the campaign.
