Jamaican Jurist to Lead Commission of Enquiry Into the Deaths of Four Divers

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – Renowned Jamaican jurist Justice Cecil Dennis Morrison Q.C has been appointed to lead a three-member Commission of Enquiry (COE) that will look into the circumstances surrounding the deaths of four divers who were working on an underwater crude oil pipeline last month, Energy and Energy Industries Minister Stuart Young announced Thursday.

BROOKLYN, NY – New York City Mayor Eric Adams today announced an agreement that will transform the city-owned South Brooklyn Marine Terminal (SBMT) into one of the largest offshore wind port facilities in the nation. The agreement will help establish New York as a leader in offshore wind and help the New York City meet its nation-leading climate goals of 100 percent clean electricity by 2040.
