Member Countries of Escazú Agreement Call for Deepening Implementation

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina – The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) says the second meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 2) to the Regional Agreement on Access to Information, Public Participation and Justice in Environmental Matters – known as the Escazú Agreement – ended in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with the election of the first seven members of the Committee to Support Implementation and Compliance of the treaty.
