South Florida Based Artist Jahdeed Rawbawn Releases New Song 'Solution'
Solution, the second song from singer Jahdeed Rawbawn, was released in September. The South Florida-based artist co-produced it with Stephen Ndungu.
Jahdeed RawbawnIt is the follow-up to Adjustment which was released in March. Jahdeed Rawbawn was also co-producer on that track with Jordan Lowe.
In an interview with Caribbean Today, he spoke about a difference in tone between the songs.
“They carry very different energies. Solution is more reflective and conscious — it’s about searching for clarity in a world full of obstacles and carries a meditative roots vibe,” said Jahdeed Rawbawn. “On the other hand, Adjustment has a grittier, forward-moving feel. That track is about finding your footing when life throws you curveballs, adapting to change and refusing to be stuck in one place.”
In the past three months, he has spent considerable time working with Marlon Wright of Cyber Leaf Entertainment on a six-song EP, scheduled for release in early 2026.
Jahdeed Rawbawn is from St. Elizabeth, a rural parish in southern Jamaica. While his admiration for Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Johnny Osbourne and Courtney Melody, triggered an early interest in a music career, academics took precedence.
After graduating from high school, he pursued studies to be an engineer at the University of Technology in Kingston. He graduated with a diploma in mechanical engineering, then migrated to the United States.
