Tad’s International Record Releases 'Reggae Virus Riddim Remix'
When gathering songs for their Reggae Virus Riddim Remix project, the principals at Tad’s International Record agreed that Captured by Glen Washington had to be on the compilation album.
Glen WashingtonThe company first released that track two years ago. It was so popular, it was only natural to include it on their latest release.
“With Glen Washington we were confident that we were going to produce cool lyrics, relaying the message of love through roots music to the world. At the end of the day, we got more than we bargained for," said Tad Dawkins, head of Tad's International Record.
Produced by Tad Dawkins Jr., the Reggae Virus Riddim Remix, which contains 14 songs, was released on September 5. It is a follow-up to The Reggae Virus: First Dose, which the company released five years ago.
"We did this remixed album to showcase the distinctive quality and sound of the Reggae Virus riddim that Tad's International Record released which has since been replicated but these replications are of no comparison," said Dawkins.
Other songs on the Reggae Virus Riddim Remix are I Am I Said by Mikey Spice, Can’t be Too Much Love by Sophia Squire, Never Miss Your Water (Screwdriver) and He Messed Up by Wayne Wade.
