Murders in Jamaica Have Declined Since January

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica has recorded an 11.8 percent decrease in murders during the period January 1 to July 29 this year, as compared to the same period last year, according to figures released by the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF).

Jamaica’s Ambassador Pitches Mentorship Program For Boys to Jamaicans in Atlanta

Washington, DC - The Atlanta Jamaica Association (AJA) has been charged to implement a youth travel and mentorship programme; Upliftment, Learning, and Intervention through Foreign Travel (UPLIFT). This program is aimed at exposing young Jamaican boys from age 7 to 18, by hosting them and their parents with families in the United States who will expose them to different experiences over a two-to-three-week period.
