Jamaica Spent Less on Imports in 2024

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN) says the country spent an estimated US$5,520.6 million importing goods and services during the period January to September last year, while earnings from total exports were valued at US$1,360.5 million.

Barbados' Economy Projected to Grow By Three Percent This Year

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados - The Central Bank of Barbados (CBB) Wednesday projected that the island’s economy is poised for sustained growth in 2025 and beyond and that an annual average real gross domestic product (GDP) expansion rate of three percent is anticipated in the short- to medium-term.
